- Está receta la inicio con la calabaza ya cortada en trozos grandes, cómo la cáscara es dura les recomiendo que pidan que se las partan ahí donde la compren, yo compré una chica y salieron 7 pedazos. El primer paso es quitarle las semillas a todos los trozos con ayuda de una cuchara.
- Cuando estén sin semillas, acomodamos todos los pedazos dentro de la cacerola pero con la cáscara hacia abajo para que la calabaza quedé hacia arriba.
- Cuando todos los pedazos están adentro de la cacerola ponemos los dos piloncillos, pero los deshacemos no los agregamos enteros, los distribuimos encima de toda la calabaza. Después agregamos la canela en toda la calabaza.
- Ya que tengamos la calabaza con la canela y el piloncillo, vamos a ponerla en la lumbre sin agua, porque la calabaza suelta su propio jugo y con eso se va a cocinar. Yo tapé mi calabaza y la deje cocer primero por 20 minutos.
- Pasados los 20 minutos, la revisé con la cuchara, estaba blanda de unas partes pero en otras le faltaba, así que moví las partes a las que les faltaba cocción, la tapé y nuevamente la dejé cocerse por otros 20 minutos. La revisé y ya estaba lista.
